UNDER EATING and EXERCISE causes PERIOD PROBLEMS (and we need to talk about it!)
Hi everyone! In this video I talk about the myth that exercise can cause period loss. Exercise alone should not cause period issues BUT when exercise is coupled with under eating (calorie restriction), it leads to hormone imbalance, menstrual irregularities, and in severe cases, period loss! This is why it is so important to fuel your body properly! While eating less and working out more might seem like an easy way to achieve your goals, it can come at the expense of your hormone health.
