This 30 minute single clubbell workout focuses on mastering 3 essential movements that will provide you the strength and confidence to create your own flows. As you see, I use the 15 lb. club for any of the exercises I feel confident I'll be able to get through the work time. The 5 lb. jump in weight is significant. Have patience with yourself. Choke up, just like me, when you're getting tired or you feel the club getting wobbly. My left arm is much weaker than my right after breaking my elbow, but I'm excited to be progressing to 15 lb. and getting back to using the weight I was before the injury less than a year after it happened. This kind of workout is a great way to see progress because you might realize you CAN do more than you thought with that heavier weight, even if you're not yet there with every exercise goal. As with any compound exercise, we ensure success by breaking down the movement into smaller pieces and working them individually, gaining understanding and control, so that we can put it all together smoothly. We have a timer, so don't focus on rushing through reps. Whether you do 1 rep or 10 doesn't matter as long as you're doing them right. Take your time and slow it down. It'll actually be harder to move the club slowly and keep the same level of control. As it's said, "Slow is Smooth, Smooth is fast." This is a great opportunity to focus on each component of the movement and understand what element needs more training to get the entire compound exercise feeling smooth and fluid. Workout::: 4 rounds of 30 seconds on, 30 seconds off performing each exercise. Odd rounds on your weaker side, even in the stronger hand. The first 2 rounds you perform Inside Circles, the last 2 rounds you perform Outside Circles.
