Operación Ichi-Go 1944, la batalla más grande de la Historia de Asia
Operation Ichi-Go in 1944 was not only the most savage operation waged in China during World War II, but also the largest in Asian history. The scale of this massive Japanese offensive involved millions of battles over a vast front of 1,600 kilometers and left more than a million dead, including soldiers on both sides and civilians. It also consumed the last human resources of the Japanese Empire and left the Kuomintang in a poor position to resume the Chinese Civil War the following year, 1945.
