Steam Trains on the London Metropolitan Line featuring unique "parallel running" on 21st May 1995
Two steam hauled passenger trains depart Harrow on the Hill at the same time on adjacent tracks and head for Amersham and Watford. En-route the trains run neck and neck until they separate at Rickmansworth. The film is shot from the Watford-bound train showing the Amersham train alongside at speeds of up to 60 mph. Later on in the day lineside views are included at Rickmansworth and Chorleywood stations.
