The Classic 2024 Great Central Railway Winter Steam Gala - 26 & 27 January.

With a fanastic array of motive power comprising 8 steam locomotives including visiting L & Y Class 27 O-6- O (1899) and BR Standard 4 75069 the three-day event benefitted from dry and bright weather. The NER 1903 Electric Autocar and Test Car "Iris" added to the variety with goods trains intermingled with the passenger trains. The film includes the view of the line from the footplate of 8F 48305 (with permission kindly granted by GCR) and thanks to the crew.
