I'm Using All The Mind-Body Tools But It's Not Working - Why?

Are you using all the tools and techniques for overcoming mind-body symptoms? You feel like you're doing everything right but it just isn't working... Does this mean it's not a mind-body condition? Does this mean it's physical? Not necessarily. Even if you're doing everything you can, and doing everything the right way, it might just mean that your brain isn't convinced yet. It takes time and consistency to get the brain and your subconscious to fully believe in the messages of safety you are conveying. It takes time to truly eliminate the perceived danger and make safety our default state. Doing everything perfectly doesn't guarantee results in any given timeframe. Everyone has a different situation with varying levels of fear and danger. The key is making incremental progress consistently. Convey safety day in and day out, while not panicking if you don't see a result right away. It's not the things you do, but who you become.
