A 3/5 705 in Winterthur – Mit Volldampf zur Überführung des Gepäckwagens «F 948» | SwissRails

The Zurich Steam Group Association ceremoniously took over the restored baggage car F 948 in Winterthur on April 12, 2025, after a successful revision, and transported it in style to Brugg using the A 3/5 705 steam locomotive. On the journey to Brugg, the A 3/5 705 also carried the CIWL dining car as well as another baggage car. The A 3/5 705 is a historic steam locomotive, originally developed in 1904, serving as an express train locomotive.
