Überführung des RBDe II durchs Emmental – zur Reparatur und zum Jahresunterhalt | SwissRails

On 14 June 2026, the BDe 4/4 II 201 of the VPM (Verein Pendelzug Mirage) was on a special mission. In the morning and evening, the railcar operated scheduled trains of the running day on the Emmental Railway. The remaining services were provided by the steam locomotive Ed 3/4 51 of Dampfbahn Bern. In the meantime, the railcar travelled to Lützelflüh-Goldbach to pick up the RBDe II stored there. It requires annual maintenance and therefore had to be transferred to Huttwil. However, since it was not operational, the BDe 4/4 II 201 had to assist and tow the RBDe II to Huttwil. In this video, you can see some impressions of the BDe 4/4 II 201’s day of operation in the Emmental as well as the running day on the Emmental Railway.
