Egg Biscuits- From the Presidential Cookbook, 1904: 4 cups flour 3 teaspoons baking powder 4 tablespoons butter or lard 2 beaten eggs 1 tablespoon sugar 1 teaspoon salt 1 cup milk Heat oven to 400F. 1. Mix together in a bowl the flour & baking powder. Work in the butter or lard with your fingers. 2. Add in the eggs, sugar & salt. 3. Pour in the milk & mix to make a soft dough. 4. Roll out to 1/2 inch thick and cut out biscuits. Place them on a lined baking tray and bake 15-20 minutes. Enjoy!
