It starts with a small but meaningful ritual… preparing our mountain spring water using charcoal sticks. I love these little habits that connect us back to nature — even in the simplest ways. Then it’s time for one of my favorite parts of the day… an afternoon walk with Lara 🐾 There’s something so special about watching her run freely and enjoy life. Her happiness is contagious — it reminds me to slow down and appreciate the moment. Back home, I take a moment to reflect on how much I love our space. It truly feels like a sanctuary. As I grow older, I find more contentment in what I already have… and less desire to constantly chase something new. In the evening, I FaceTime my mum 🤍 Living far from family is not always easy, and I miss them deeply — but moments like these help me feel close, no matter the distance. For dinner, I’m making homemade vegan dumplings… a simple, comforting meal made with potatoes, mushrooms, ginger, and garlic. This is my first time experimenting with this filling — and honestly, it turned out even better than expected. Cooking, tasting, and sharing food at the end of the day… there’s something so grounding about it. As the night winds down, I move into slower rituals… a long bubble bath, gentle skincare, and taking time to care for myself. Because slowing down — even in the smallest ways — is an act of self-love. Before bed, Lara and I take our final walk, followed by a calming herbal tea — a quiet moment to close the day.
