In many ways, she has shaped my days more than I ever expected — not just through routines, but through the way she experiences life. In this video, I wanted to celebrate her… but also reflect on everything she has quietly taught me. From being fully present, to finding joy in the smallest moments… Lara lives in a way that feels both simple and deeply meaningful. She doesn’t rush. She doesn’t worry about what’s next. She just exists — balanced, aware, and completely in the moment. Being around her has reminded me to slow down. To breathe. To appreciate what already is. She celebrates everything — every walk, every meal, every return home. And in doing so, she has changed how I experience my own everyday life. Even the most ordinary moments now feel worth noticing… and even celebrating. Today, we mark her birthday with a little homemade cake (made from dog-friendly ingredients), a wrapped gift she’s been very curious about, and a cozy evening with friends — turning it into a small birthday gathering in her honor. I also cook a dinner inspired by Southeast Asian flavors, reflecting on how much we can learn from other cultures — in food, in rituals, and in the way we live. But more than anything, this video is about love. The quiet, unconditional kind. The kind that doesn’t need words. Lara has taught me that joy is simple. Because love is simple.
