RELIEVES ESTRUCTURALES

Three main factors contribute to the formation of a landscape: lithology, tectonics, and erosion. Tectonic forces, resulting from the Earth's internal activity, modify the initial arrangement of rocks, and lithology contributes to the rock mass's response to tectonic deformation, as it largely depends on the rocks' hardness and rigidity or plasticity. The influence of these three factors—structure, lithology, and erosion—is illustrated in a series of examples throughout the video: horizontal, folded, and faulted landforms. In this video, we have used many concepts, such as strata, joints, faults, and erosion, which we have already explained in previous videos, available on our channel.
