It's so delicious, so please give it a try. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ■Ingredients (Serves 1-2) ◯Teriyaki Chicken ・1 chicken thigh (300g) ・1.5 tablespoons soy sauce ・1 tablespoon mirin ・2 teaspoons sake ・1 tablespoon sugar ・1/2 teaspoon grated ginger ・1/2 teaspoon grated garlic ・Potato starch 1 teaspoon ◯ Tomato Salad ・1 tomato ・20g daikon radish sprouts ・3 shiso leaves ・2g bonito flakes ・1/2 teaspoon grated ginger ・1 tablespoon mentsuyu (noodle soup base) ・1/2 tablespoon vinegar ・1/2 teaspoon sugar ・1 teaspoon sesame oil ・1 teaspoon white sesame seeds ■ Directions 1. Trim excess chicken and pierce with a fork. 2. Rub half the chicken with sugar and coat with potato starch. 3. Place in a container, add soy sauce, mirin, sake, remaining sugar, ginger, and garlic, and marinate for 5 minutes. 4. Make the tomato salad. Cut the tomatoes into bite-sized pieces. 5. Julienne the shiso leaves. 6. Add the mentsuyu, vinegar, sugar, ginger, and sesame oil to a bowl and mix well. 7. Add the tomatoes, daikon radish sprouts, shiso leaves, bonito flakes, and white sesame seeds and toss to finish. 8. Place the chicken skin-side down, cover with plastic wrap, and microwave at 600W for 3 minutes. 9. Turn over, cover with plastic wrap, and microwave at 600W for 2 minutes 30 seconds. 10. Add the tomatoes, daikon sprouts, shiso leaves, bonito flakes, and white sesame seeds and toss to finish. 8. Place the chicken skin-side down, cover with plastic wrap, and microwave for 3 minutes at 600W. 9. Turn over, cover with plastic wrap, and microwave for 2 minutes 30 seconds at 600W. 10. Leave to simmer for 10 minutes with the plastic wrap still on, then finish in the residual heat.
