feeling that something is missing (music journal #9)
This week I continued refining the structure of the piece, clarifying the contrast between the 7/8 and 5/8 sections and developing a three-voice texture that functions as an acoustic pad, consistent with the mechanical world of Technos. Although the structure is becoming clear, I still feel that something is missing. The piece works architecturally, but it needs a stronger narrative dimension. I am exploring a more suspended, dream-like moment in the middle section, connected to the butterfly Q and the sigma chord introduced earlier, allowing the composition to open a deeper level of meaning. Part of my weekly music journal documenting the creative process.
