In a recent video, I explained why high rep training is brilliant for building a great physique, strong tendons, surprisingstrength, and great endurance. LOTS of people responded to that video explaining that they had experienced similar results when training this way. There’s lots of reasons why this works so well, from pooling blood in the muscle to forcing the activation of fast-twitch muscle fibre. So, with that in mind, the next question is: how do you go about using high rep training yourself? A lot of people also asked me what exercises they could do for different body parts. In this video, then, I explain just how to train with super high reps for the best results. That means exercise suggestions, as well as programming advice. This focusses primarily on high-rep bodyweight training with movements like dips, push ups, pull ups, bodyweight rows, air squats, and sit-ups. However, high rep training doesn’t ONLY work with bodyweight - so I also included advice on using kettlebells, weights, and resistance machines for similar results.
