The pace of the practice is gentle, with some poses paused for longer periods to release tension in the body through breathing. Try to enter the poses gently, as in yin practice, at about 40-50 percent of your capacity to achieve a state of release and relaxation. AIDS A blanket, pillow, or blocks may be helpful – however, the sequence can also be performed without assistance. ABOUT THE SERIES This series is a collection of 7 practices of varying lengths, intensities, and intentions. You'll find quick sequences using dynamic transitions that will get your heart racing and awaken your body and mind, as well as more calming, relaxing practices based on static asanas and gentle movements that will quiet racing thoughts or de-stress before a busy day. Single lessons range from 15 to 35 minutes, so that even the busiest person can allow themselves a few moments for themselves before starting their day. Morning Yoga is a diverse series that will help you develop your endurance, fitness, strength, flexibility, and self-confidence. Each class is different, so you can adapt this series to your current well-being, energy level, and time available that day. During the series, you will: improve your strength, flexibility, endurance, and self-confidence, gain more energy and drive, reduce stress and tension, develop the habit of regular practice.
