Canary Islands' Wrinkled Potatoes

When potatoes were brought to the Canary Islands in the early 16th century, they established themselves very well. Due to the islands’ volcanic soil and unique climate, the potatoes quickly genetically mutated, evolving into their own unique subspecies. It is very difficult to get Canarian Potatoes outside the islands!
