Facade renovation before and after: see how an old house gained a modern, safe, and much more valuable facade. In this episode of S.O.S. Works, I show the complete 3D project of the transformation of Kamila's house facade. The proposal solves real problems of security, access, humidity, circulation, and aesthetics — without losing the personality of the residence. The house had a very steep and dangerous ramp, steps starting on the sidewalk, a garage without direct access to the interior, old railings, a poorly functional gate, and a roof that made the facade heavy and dated. In the new facade project, we created solutions such as: • modern facade with wood-effect aluminum slatted panel; • front glass enclosure, providing security without darkening the house; • black aluminum gate with ventilation to help reduce humidity and mold in the garage; • more comfortable and safe staircase, recessed into the property; • internal access between the garage and the residence; • linear planter with hanging vegetation; • lightweight glass roof on the side of the house; • Burnished cement texture, waterproof paint, and Grannistone cladding for exterior areas; • Two proposals for the terrace: with a built-in roof or completely without a visible roof. This renovation shows how an old house facade can gain a contemporary, elegant, and much more functional look without relying solely on expensive cladding.
