-Owner/Line: IMRR Springfield Sub -Train/Power: CN L56491: CN 8339 SD75IAC (Website) RL K3L [Signal Info] Signal on the Right: -Lights: 3 Pairs of L&W 12x20 Inch with WCH 2nd Gen LEDs -Bell: Safetran Hybrid Signal on the Left: -Lights: 4 Pairs of L&W 12x20 Inch with WCH 2nd Gen LEDs While shooting Big Boy in downtown Springfield, I heard on the radio that CN L564 was getting permission onto IMRR property at Shops Yard to interchange, so after I was done with 4014 I went on over there to check that out, as I'd never seen that happen before. The CN local only comes to Springfield once a week, typically now down on Saturdays, and then returning to Decatur on Sundays. The CN being at Shops was the perfect opportunity for me to film this rare crossing, being the only Safetran Hybrid bell on the I&M, likely installed by them in early G&W days in the late 1990s.
