Once I caught the BNSF Tilbury Job heading eastbound at 80 Street, I quickly headed over to this crossing to catch them again. I managed to have a couple minutes to spare before the crossing activated, and the train came crawling through with its pair of rebuilt H4 Geeps for power. Since I first recorded this crossing back in 2019, there has been quite the noticeable change. In the early 2020s, the nearby Highway 17 was completely redone in order to eliminate the 96 Street intersection. Because of that, the road was rerouted elsewhere, leaving this crossing to go from seeing nonstop heavy trucks and other traffic to becoming a completely silent dead end. It is largely used as a turnaround for vehicles as you can see beyond the crossing. Still find it quite cool it was kept though lol. Please comment, like and subscribe!
