I was in the fifth grade of elementary school (age 11) when the bombing occurred, 1.3 km from the hypocenter. I was unharmed, but my younger brothers suffered injuries and burns. Our house, located 0.7 km away, was burned to the ground, leaving only my older sister's bones. My father was crushed under the collapsed building and died on August 28th.
