This is a collection of testimonies from atomic bomb survivors, sharing their experiences at the locations where the bombing occurred. The videos include numerous photographs and drawings from the time of the bombing, alongside footage of the survivors themselves. ...Miyako Jōdai's Atomic Bombing Experience... She was 6 years old at the time. She was exposed to the bombing in Tateyama Town, 2.4 km from the hypocenter. Because she was inside her home, she suffered no external injuries and was rescued from a collapsed floorboard. Afterward, she spent several days in an air-raid shelter on the slopes of Konpira Mountain, watching the old city burn bright red. The next day, enemy planes circled low overhead, a terrifying memory that remains with her, but later she learned they were scouting Nagasaki after the bombing.
