This is a testimony of atomic bomb survivors sharing their experiences at the sites of the bombing. Along with footage of the survivors themselves, we have included numerous photographs and drawings from the time of the bombing. Fukahori passed away in October 2024 (at the age of 93). When the atomic bomb was dropped on Nagasaki on August 9, 1945, he was working as a student volunteer at the Mitsubishi Shipyard Machinery Factory, which had been relocated to Nagasaki Junior High School, 3.3 km from the hypocenter. His mother, two younger brothers, one in his first year of junior high school and one in his fifth year of elementary school, and his five-year-old sister, were killed in the bombing about 600 meters from the hypocenter.
