Landing on the "aircraft carrier" in Sedona, Arizona.
Come fly with us as my son Owen and I land in Sedona, which has a reputation as one of the more dangerous and challenging airports in the USA due to its position on a 500 foot mesa which often creates turbulence, wind sheer and very unpredictable landing conditions. After many days (weeks) of wind in Northern Arizona we get a rare calm day and take flight from our mountain airport base in Flagstaff and head out over the steep canyons of Oak Creek Canyon and West Fork for a beautiful flight over some of the most stunning terrain in the world. Enjoy!
