He joined Capcom shortly after its founding in 1983 and produced numerous hit games, including "Street Fighter II." He left Capcom in 2003 and founded Game Republic. He began working on major game development at his own studio, but around 2010, the studio ran into financial difficulties and essentially ceased operations.
