“He just raised his head and that was It": Father mourns son who died after gas tank explosion in Penal— promises to take legal action The family of Bevaughn Joseph, a 26-year-old Penal man, is demanding answers following his tragic death on Friday, October 17th, days after suffering severe burns in a gas tank explosion at his Sunrees Road home. Joseph was warded at the San Fernando General Hospital in critical condition since the incident, which occurred on Monday of last week, when a newly purchased gas cylinder reportedly exploded inside the family’s home. According to reports, the gas tank had been purchased from Ramco, and the Fire Services have since confirmed that the explosion originated from the cylinder, according to a police report. His father, Brian Joseph, described the devastating moment his son took his final breath. “He died seconds after I went into the ICU and called his name. He just raised his head—and that was it,” the grieving father said. The elder Joseph said he intends to take legal action, insisting that his son’s death should never have happened. Bevaughn’s death has renewed public concern over gas safety in Penal, coming just weeks after another resident, identified as Ria George, died in a similar explosion at her home in the same area. As investigations continue, the Joseph family is calling for justice and stricter safety oversight to prevent any further tragedies of this kind.— Story by Ian Alleyne Network If you have any information, WhatsApp me on 1 868 294 4081, or you can make an anonymous report at Ianalleyne.org TO ADVERTISE YOUR PRODUCT CALL 868-225–3250 WATCH IAN ALLEYNE LIVE: WEBSITE: http://www.ianalleyne.org/ Subscribe to Ian Alleyne YOUTUBE:    / ianalleyne   Donate via PAYPAL: [email protected] FOLLOW IAN ALLEYNE LIVE ON: FACEBOOK:   / ianalleynenetwork   INSTAGRAM:   / ianalleyne   DOWNLOAD THE IAN ALLEYNE APP GOOGLE PLAY: https://play.google.com/store/…/detai...
