08 Rainy Day | Rafters | Summer in the Valley
Whether it's the pitter-patter of rain drops or the silence of still morning air, sounds on the mountains here are magical! We had some of each these past few days as our roof rafters were installed and all the tedious work of trimming out between and around them forged ahead. We are grateful for our crew who bring their skills and diligence to this project. It's August and the town is alive with community. Hope you enjoy our latest episode as much as we enjoyed experiencing life in this valley! 0:00 Intro, sound on a rainy day 0:22 First glimpse of roof rafters! 1:44 Infilling between rafters cladding of steel beam 5:10 Craning bricks onto roof 7:05 Aerial views of roof progress 7:36 Morning in town 8:00 Silence on the mountain 8:24 Delivery of lumber 9:38 Wrapping up work on the rafter and infill 10:19 Outro, summer evening in town
