Welcome Back everyone, join us today as we head into beautiful Zeballos on Vancouver Island in our converted Ford Transit van. Zeballos is located 42 km off Highway 19 at the end of the Zeballos Arm of the Esperanza Inlet. The road is one of the smoothest Forest Service Roads we have travelled. But in this case its both. We decide to take our time during the drive in and put the drone in the air and take in the snowcapped peaks, lakes and waterfalls. In this video we give a history of Zeballos, the wildfire that almost engulfed the whole village in 2018 and camping in Zeballos, BC. Zeballos also has General store which is has limited hours to 3 to 7 most days. They also have a Post Office, a hotel with a seasonal restaurant, a museum, where you can learn about the rich history of the area. Various places are available to stay in the area plus nature, hiking and fishing tour and adventures are available. Best place to go for all this info is the village website at Zeballos.com. Also a heads up cell phone service was severely limited in the village at the time we were there, so best to do any research while you are in the larger communities on the Island with cell service. A very nice Public washrooms with showers was located at the marina. Zeballos also has a campground in town called Cevallos which is right on the river.
