Ride Into History - BART Legacy Fleet Farewell Trips

On April 20, 2024, the Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) has officially retired their legacy fleet railcars from revenue service. Three trains made trips from MacArthur station to Fremont station along the East Bay. BART was founded on September 11, 1972 with the legacy fleet being the primary fleet for the transit system across the San Francisco Bay Area.
