CTA Pink Line Ride from Clark/Lake to 54th/Cermak

Welcome aboard my very first CTA Ride-Along video! Today we’ll be riding the CTA Pink Line. Beginning operations in June 2006, the Pink Line began as a 180-Day-Trial to test ridership on the Cermak or Douglas Branch and had replaced Blue Line Service on said branch and after the trial had proven successful, the CTA had decided to make the Pink Line permanent and by April 2008, CTA discontinued Blue Line service on the branch. The Pink Line recently turned 20 years old back on June 25th. Happy Belated Birthday, Pink Line! The baby of the system is all grown up now. Here’s to 20 more years of the CTA Pink Line! If you enjoyed this video, throw it a like, leave a comment and share it with your friends and if you really like what you see, hit the subscribe button and turn on post notifications to stay notified on with my videos. Today’s stops are as follows: Clark/Lake Washington/Wabash Adams/Wabash Harold Washington Library- State/Van Buren LaSalle/Van Buren Qunicy Washington/Wells Clinton Morgan Ashland- Transfer to Green Line Trains Polk 18th Damen Western California Kedzie Central Park Pulaski Kostner Cicero 54th/Cermak PS. Sorry if the footage is a little bit shaky, the Pink Line can be a bit roller coaster-ish if you know what I mean and for the accidental picture taken and for the unintentional pauses, my thumb got in the way. but with that out of the way, please sit back and relax and enjoy the video.
