#13 Boardwalk Bonanza (Waterliniepad Nederhorst-Naarden-Bussum)

Sunny early July hike (18 km) continuing the Waterlinie path (LAW 17) going north from Nederhorst den Berg to Naarden-Bussum). The hike starts along a few lakes and marshes and takes you through rather unspoiled wide countryside and some ‘Dutch jungle’. On the way you pass one of the Waterlinie fortresses used for the protection of Amsterdam and later after crossing some polders you enter the marshlands of the Naardermeer area. Though a bit dry this time of year, you cross several scenic boardwalks.
