7 Day Killarney Canoe Trip (Ep. 1)
In September 2024, my husband Pat and I went on a 7 day canoe trip in the north end of Killarney Provincial Park. We had wanted to visit Nellie Lake for quite some time as it is famous for being the clearest lake in Killarney. Because we had a full 7 days to explore the park, we decided to add on a side loop taking us through the less famous Great Mountain Lake. Kevin Callan has a canoe route dedicated to this lake so we knew it must be good! This trip turned out to be one of the best we've ever taken! In this first episode we start off at Widgawa outfitters (off of highway 6), paddle to Leech Lake and then to Rock Lake. We hope you enjoy!
