3 Day Canoe Trip down the River Severn - Day 1. Tarp and Bivvy Woodland Wild Camp. Beef Stew.

In this video, I am over in Wales to paddle a section of the river Severn with my good friends George, Rachel and of course Andy from Kent Survival. We have three days to paddle from Welshpool to Shrewsbury, wild camping along the way and carrying all we need for the adventure in our canoes. Day one sees us scraping and dragging our canoes along the shallow river bed, shooting weirs, clambering through trees caught up in the river following the last floods and paddling stunningly quiet and intimate sections along this less paddled part of the river. Finally stopping for the night in a breezy woodland after eight hours in the boats, we set up camp and enjoy some well earned dinner around the campfire before a good nights rest in our tents and bivvies.
