Located between Ulladulla and Batemans Bay, it explores beautiful tall forests of majestic spotted gums and burrawangs that grow right down to the beach. One of the rare spots in Australia where this happens. Some of the best secluded beaches of fine golden sand with  dramatic rock platforms and crystal clear waters with a myriad of wildlife from kangaroos, echidnas, large monitor lizards, cheeky possums, sea eagles and migrating whales and dolphins. Murramarang South Coast Walk is a grade 4, 34 kilometer multi-days walk recently opened in April 2023.Beginning in Pretty Beach Campground, walking south along the coast and finishing in Maloney's Beach near Batemans Bay. The Canberra Bushwalking Club has an annual worn boot bash where the minimum requirement is 30  kilometers. So this year we are doing this multi-day walk in a single day.
