The Wollimi Wilderness Area 361,000 hectares is the largest wilderness area in eastern Australia, a marvellous inaccessible rugged landscape only 130 kms northwest of Sydney. The Colo River Gorge with 300 metre impenetrable sandstone walls has many large sandy campsites in many of the bends in the Colo River and it's tributary creeks have amazing rocky slabs with many waterfalls and deep pools of brilliant colours. This six day hike by the Canberra Bushwalking Club was led by Keith T who had hiked the Colo River many times and abseiled down many of it's passes, Keith also contributed to the video with some of his photographs.
