Fish Eggs (Caviar/Roe) Fry Recipe Ingredients 250 g fish eggs (fish roe/caviar) 1 medium onion, finely chopped 2 green chilies, chopped 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste ¼ tsp turmeric powder 1 tsp red chili powder ½ tsp coriander powder Salt to taste 2 tbsp oil Curry leaves (optional) Fresh coriander leaves for garnish Process 1. Wash the fish eggs gently and drain excess water. 2. Heat oil in a pan. 3. Add curry leaves, chopped onions, and green chilies. Fry until onions turn golden. 4. Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for 1 minute. 5. Add turmeric, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well. 6. Add the fish eggs and gently stir. 7. Cook on medium heat for 8–10 minutes, stirring occasionally. 8. Break the eggs slightly while frying to get a crumbly texture. 9. Fry until the roe is fully cooked and lightly crisp. 10. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot. Serving Suggestions Serve with hot rice and ghee. Tastes great with rasam or dal. Can also be eaten as a side dish with chapati.
