This Unusual Beach Sit's Next To Henry VIII's Fortress!

In our second Portland adventure, we're diving into the island's history and natural wonders, starting with Portland Castle! This is a 16th-century fortress built by Henry VIII, and one of many of the 'Device Forts' that he had built along the coast! Speaking of coast(!), we'll then head to the famous Chesil Beach, one of the most unique shingle beaches in the world. It's 18 miles long, and made entirely of pebbles! Portland Castle is English Heritage, so if you're a member, entry is free!
