Our Cancelled Plans Led To The Perfect ISLE OF WIGHT Adventure

When our original plans were unexpectedly cancelled, we decided to turn the disappointment into an adventure and take an impromptu day trip to the Isle of Wight! Things got off to a slightly unusual start when Wightlink placed us on an earlier ferry than expected, but with an extra hour to explore the island, we certainly weren't going to complain. We begin the day in Sandown, with a quick visit to Dinosaur Isle, before taking a scenic drive along the island's beautiful coastline. Later, we head to Yarmouth to explore its historic castle, wander around the harbour, and even find ourselves at the Sea Song Festival. What started as a backup plan turned into a fantastic day out, and by the end of the trip, it's safe to say the Isle of Wight earned our full recommendation.
