The Grand Decline- Visit 4 (VISUAL EDITION)

The Grand Decline is an EATEOT fan project made by PhiSigma under the moniker, The Artifex. It explorers the mental decline of a patient who suffers from Alzheimer’s. But unlike EATEOT, the story is told through the course of 36 visits. Which are grouped into “scenes”. Rather than just 6 stages. This is my fanmade visual version of Visit 4. This takes place near the end of CS2, where there are mild issues in memory. Visit 4: December 19, 2001. A more depressive mood than before sets in, though they try to keep these emotions to themselves. Minor slips in their memory remind them of their current situation. Such as memories having less saturation or being more blurred. But the patient tries not to think about it too much. To them, they are just getting old. 0:00 1- The Great Doors Begin to Close 2:57 2- Moments In Silent Solitude 6:15 3- Fragments of Joy Caught in the Mist 9:08 4- What Remains of Hope 12:50 5- A Brash Rebuke to the Path Ahead 16:57 6- An Unsaid Rhythm Down Below 20:36 7- Festivities Give Way to Stagnant Bliss 23:49 8- Failures in Cognition Relapse Further
