The Grand Decline- Scene 1 (VISUAL EDITION)

The Grand Decline is an EATEOT fan project made by PhiSigma under the moniker, The Artifex. It explorers the mental decline of a patient who suffers from Alzheimer’s. But unlike EATEOT, the story is told through the course of 36 visits. Which are grouped into “scenes”. Rather than just 6 stages. This is my fanmade visual version of Visit 1. This takes place in CS1 where there is little to nothing wrong at all with memory. Scene 1 Description: "Before the eventual downward spiral, we experience the very beginning of the decline. A time where thoughts are recollected without effort. Savor this bliss, for it may not last for long." Visit 1: January 11, 2001. A peaceful life continues, although some moments are happier than others. They feel out of it for a moment, but brush it off as just a normal symptom of old age. Unanticipated mood swings begin to increase, though it is attributed to old age by the patient. Lurking sadness becomes apparent the more they think about how little time is left. Mild issues in memory are also apparent.
