The Grand Decline- Visit 5 (VISUAL EDITION)
The Grand Decline is an EATEOT fan project made by PhiSigma under the moniker, The Artifex. It explorers the mental decline of a patient who suffers from Alzheimer’s. But unlike EATEOT, the story is told through the course of 36 visits. Which are grouped into “scenes”. Rather than just 6 stages. This is my fanmade visual version of Visit 5. This takes at the beginning of CS3, where there are moderate issues in memory. Visit 5: February 21, 2002. The visit takes place over the course what feels like a long night. The patient quietly sinks further and further into melancholia, They dream of their grandiose era, longing to return. Memories are now more distant and dreamlike, and more problems with memories begin to slowly emerge. 0:00 1- What Stars May Fade 1:37 2- The Clouds Begin to Darken 5:03 3- Shards of Light Dot the Skies 8:35 4- In A Moment Before the Sun Falls 11:23 5- Tumults Lining Corridors of Thought 15:14 6- A Calm Reminiscence in Dark Times 18:38 7- A Hole in the Overcast 22:06 8- Dreams of Better Days
