The Last Seconds of Chernobyl Reactor Four

The time is 01:23:04 AM, April 26th, 1986. In less than 45 seconds, Chernobyl Reactor Four will not exist. Across my channel, you can find many videos exploring the actions of the operators building up to this in detail, including my Real Time videos. However, it is difficult to properly convey the changing conditions that turned what appeared to be a stable reactor into a radioactive inferno. As such, this video is not about the decisions those in the Control Room made to get to this point, this video is about the conditions inside of Reactor Number Four in the last seconds before its destruction, and what the data that survives forty years later can inform us about them.
