★ 🇨🇭 Lenzburg - Zofingen cab ride, Switzerland [10.9.2012] Führerstandsmitfahrt

Today we're looking at a branch line in the canton of Aargau, between Zofingen and Lenzburg. Of interest from a railway perspective is the full-bore crossing with the narrow-gauge AAR Schöftland–Aarau line in Oberentfelden. We've already seen the crossing from the perspective of the narrow gauge railway in the following video:    • ★ 4K 🇨🇭 Schöftland - Aarau - Menziken cab ...   We'll be revisiting this line in the future at 4K resolution. This video is however now unique, in that since it was filmed, a number of things around the line have changed. You might notice the old catenary masts in the first half, which have already been replaced in the second half of the video. Also, you can see the remnants of the connection to the narrow gauge AAR line, which allowed normal gauge wagons to piggy back on flat coaches on the narrow gauge network.
