This is a conversation with Ms. Suzuko Yamazaki, recorded in conjunction with her solo exhibition (held from May 26th to June 10th, 2026). Since winning the Grand Prize at the first "Open Call - Japanese Painting 2012" exhibition, Ms. Yamazaki has honed her skills and captivated many fans with her Japanese-style paintings that resonate with the Japanese aesthetic. This time, she presented a new work themed on "snow and ink," a new direction for her.
