Suppression of protest: Because so many issues are happening in parallel, the public loses track. Resistance collapses because no one knows what to protest against first. Organized advantage: While the general public struggles to organize, well-connected lobby groups and authorities smoothly push through their interests. Outsourced censorship and preemptive deletion Shifting of responsibility: The state forces private platforms (like YouTube or X) to act as watchdogs themselves. Fear of penalties: If platforms overlook illegal content, they face massive fines. If they delete too much, however, they face no consequences. Over-blocking: To avoid any legal risk, the networks prefer to delete too much. This systematically blocks perfectly legal, but inconvenient, opinions. Reduced Security Due to Built-in Backdoors Destruction of Protection: Laws force manufacturers to build backdoors into previously secure systems (such as messaging apps or operating systems). This renders true encryption worthless. Invitation to Hackers: If there is a deliberate vulnerability for the state, criminals, hackers, or foreign intelligence agencies will also find and exploit this access. Total Vulnerability: The system is forced to disable its own defense mechanisms. Ultimately, the data of all users is massively at risk. The Failure of AI Surveillance Massive False Alarms: AI systems are not infallible. If millions of harmless chats are scanned, the AI ​​will constantly raise alarms for completely innocent citizens. Authorities in Chaos: The police will be overwhelmed by enormous amounts of useless data and will no longer be able to identify actual crimes within it. Hitting the Wrong People: Real criminals adapt technically and use other methods.
