A woman known as "Honey Lips" was arrested in Argentina on charges of carrying out the "Goodnight Cinderella" scam. Lucia Fernanda Dias da Mota used her attractive appearance to seduce men on dating apps. After gaining the victims' trust, she drugged them with chemicals mixed into their drinks and stole their belongings. Investigations revealed that Lucia worked as an agent for the Argentine Airport Security Police. She used her professional knowledge to manipulate substances without initially raising suspicion. Cameras recorded moments when she left locations accompanied by her victims and returned alone carrying suitcases and bags. Police are now trying to determine if Lucia acted alone or was part of an international group called Mamacitas, made up of young and attractive women who used seduction as bait to drug and rob their victims. The main substance used in the scam was flunitrazepam, a benzodiazepine capable of causing rapid sedation in victims. The method involves administering drugs, liquid or powder, that affect the central nervous system of the targets during social encounters or through apps. With the victims unconscious or disoriented, the scammers take advantage to steal money and valuables. Lúcia faces charges of aggravated theft and criminal association.
