Franz Bernhard Schlörr - Der Serienmörder mit dem Beil

When hunter Johann Hellinger was found dead on the morning of October 24, 1871, in the middle of a road with his skull shattered, a man strongly suspected of the crime was arrested shortly thereafter: Franz Bernhard Schlörr. An innkeeper provided damning testimony against him, the circumstantial evidence mounted, and when the murder weapon was found and presented to him, he became nervous and shaky. Nevertheless, he continued to deny any involvement in the crime. The investigating judge was forced to release him, albeit reluctantly, as the evidence was insufficient. Three years later, further axe murders occurred, unparalleled in their brutality and horror. The investigators were initially baffled, but—as had so often happened before—the murderer ultimately inadvertently made himself a suspect. 🔔 Subscribe to "Crime Quarter – The Crime Quarter Hour" for more historical crime cases    / @crimequarter   👍 If you like the video, support the channel with a like Become a channel member:    / @crimequarter   All cases are narrated by me personally – no AI voice.
