Hi everyone When I first moved to Sweden, I walked past ingredients like mushrooms, cooking cream and Parmesan without ever putting them in my basket. Not because I didn't want to try them ,I simply didn't know what to make with them. Looking back, I wish I'd learned recipes like this much sooner. So I'm starting a little series where I share recipes that have completely changed the way I cook since moving abroad. This isn't about replacing the food I grew up eating in Cameroon. It's about discovering new flavors, trying new ingredients, and adding more recipes to my kitchen while still staying connected to my roots. Today we're making one of my favorite, a rich, creamy garlic mushroom pasta with juicy chicken, Parmesan and plenty of garlic. It's simple enough for a weeknight dinner but tastes like something you'd order at a restaurant. Thanks so much for watching. ❤️ INGREDIENTS 300 g pasta (tagliatelle, fettucine or spaghetti) 250g mushroom 4 chicken thighs 2 cups cooking cream (i used 13 percent fat ) parmesan cheese ( grate in as desired) 1 large onion 6 large garlic cloves 1 cub mushroom stock ( 1 mushroom buillion cube dissolved in 1 cup hot water ) 1 tsp garlic powder , paprika salt and black pepper to taste oil or butter for frying . #CreamyGarlicMushroomPasta #AfricanInSweden #FlavorLabWithZeedel #EasyPastaRecipe
