Multiple Medley at Meadowhall.

A few hours spent at Meadowhall station in Sheffield. The purpose of the visit was to sample a ride on a new class 195 from Worksop (quite impressed). Sadly, the return journey was by class 158. Only multiple units passed through in my time there, but it did highlight the variety of classes of trains that Northern Rail has to get by with. Class 144 Pacers still well in evidence, but of interest was a class 150 still in London Midland livery. Trans Pennine services also highlighted that Cleethorpes to Manchester Airport trains are now able to run as 6-coach trains with class 185 units being freed up from other services with the introduction of Nova trains.
