Trains at Doncaster, ECML, 04/03/2026

A sunny afternoon filming at Doncaster on 4th March 2026. The weather on this day was absolutely beautiful and I didn’t want to waste the day so I popped over to Donny for a few hours to film some LNER 91 sets. I was able to catch three during my visit with the first one being propelled by 91114 ‘Durham Cathedral’ which I rode from Leeds, the second was InterCity Swallow 91119 which looked amazing in the sun, and finally there was 91109 ‘Sir Bobby Robson’ which was my ride back to Leeds. As well as the 91s, there was a couple of freight workings and the standard range of other passenger trains. Trains featured: LNER Class 800 & 801 Azuma’s LNER Class 91s / InterCity 225s TransPennine Express Class 185s Grand Central Class 180 & 221 Hull Trains Class 802 Paragons EMR Class 170 CrossCountry Class 220 Voyagers Northern Classes 150, 170 & 333 Freightliner Class 66s ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Thanks for watching.
